Furnishing the House: How You Can Help Financially
As Rahab House prepares to open its doors to survivors, we’re filled with awe at how God has provided each step of the way. Now, as we ready the home itself, we’re inviting you to partner with us through intentional, ongoing giving.
Monthly Giving: Join Us in Steady Faith
Our deepest need isn’t just generosity—it’s consistency.
Recurring donations help us move forward with clarity and stability as we prepare to welcome our first residents. Knowing what resources we can count on month-to-month allows us to steward this calling with wisdom and peace.
Would you prayerfully consider becoming a monthly donor?
Whether it’s $10 or $1,000, your recurring gift sustains the rhythms of refuge—groceries, utilities, therapy sessions, trauma-informed training, and more. Each dollar becomes a piece of a much larger story: one of redemption, healing, and new beginnings.
We’ve never been without. God has always provided—precisely, perfectly, faithfully.
But now we move from waiting and preparation to day-to-day life inside a refuge. This is where your support writes real-life stories of restoration.

Giving What You’ve Got
Sometimes, generosity looks like a jacket you no longer wear or a pair of shoes still in great shape. Other times, it's an intentional trip to the store to pick up something that says, “You are seen, and you are worth it.”
If you feel called to meet practical needs, we are so grateful. These tangible gifts help us clothe, comfort, and care for women stepping into refuge and restoration.
In addition to our Amazon Wish List, here’s what we’re currently collecting:
Gently used or new women’s clothing (all sizes)
Jackets and outerwear
Women’s shoes (all sizes)
Feminine hygiene products (unopened)
We also periodically share seasonal or urgent needs on social media—so be sure to follow us for the latest ways to help.
Important Notes
To keep our space calm, clean, and cohesive, we can’t receive walk-up donations at this time.
Please email us first with what you’d like to give:
📧 info@rahabhouse.comThis allows us to receive items intentionally, making sure every donation can truly serve the women we’re preparing to welcome.

We believe everyone has a role in the work of refuge and restoration. Whether it’s a quiet moment in prayer or a hands-on act of service, your willingness to show up matters more than you know.
Take a look at current opportunities, and if something stirs your heart, we’d love to hear from you.
📧 info@rahabhouse.comPrayer
Prayer isn’t our last resort—it’s our first move.
Prayer makes room for miracles. It anchors us in God’s will, aligns our hearts with His, and opens doors we couldn’t force open ourselves.
Please pray for:
The women we currently walk with
Those God is preparing to send
The safety, peace, and purpose of Rahab House
Our volunteers, staff, and leaders
The end of trafficking in Tennessee and beyond
Let your prayers be bold, tender, Spirit-led, and unceasing.
And as you pray, may the Father shape you into a light-bringer in a dark world.Lawn Care & Land Stewardship
Yes, we have a mower. Yes, we’ve named him Samson (still open to debate).
But what we really need are hands willing to serve and hearts willing to pray.
Cutting grass may seem like a small thing, but on this land, it’s sacred. We invite you to come, mow, and quietly pray over the refuge God is building.
We provide the equipment (zero-turn mower, gas, etc.)
A brief orientation will be required before your first visit
We’ll build a rotating schedule, so your service is planned in advance
In-House Ministry
Are you a woman with a gift to share?
Once refuge operations begin, we will welcome trusted female volunteers into the home to offer:
Shared meals & hospitality
Bible studies & devotions
Art, gardening, or craft sessions
Movie or game nights
Spirit-led encouragement & prayer
Every visit will be scheduled intentionally, with the safety and emotional needs of our residents in mind. If God has placed something on your heart, we want to make room for it.
Other Ways to Serve
Not everything happens inside the house.
Host a prayer night or small group in your community
Help with graphic design, social media, or event planning
Share our story with your church or network
Write notes of encouragement to our team or residents
If you’ve got a skill, calling, or idea, bring it to the table. We’ll find the right place for your “yes.”

Heavenly Father,
We lift to You our hope and heartbreak.
You are the God who sees, who hears, and who rescues.
We long for the day when Your Kingdom comes, and Your will is done on earth as it is in heaven.
For the World
Lord of the nations, You sent Your Son to proclaim good news to the poor, to bind up the brokenhearted, to declare freedom for the captives, and release from darkness for the prisoners (Isaiah 61:1).
Today, we cry out for those enslaved across the earth. Protect and deliver them. Change the hearts of their oppressors, and bring light into the darkest places. Let Your justice roll on like a river, and righteousness like a never-failing stream (Amos 5:24).
For Our Nation
King Jesus, we confess that our nation has not always walked in Your ways. Forgive us when we have turned a blind eye to injustice or failed to love our neighbors as ourselves.
Strengthen Your Church in this land. Unite us as one Body, empowered by Your Spirit to break the chains of oppression and to proclaim liberty. Make us a people who do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with You (Micah 6:8).
For Our State
Lord, You call us to shine as lights in the world, holding fast to the word of life (Philippians 2:15-16). Let Tennessee be a place where Your light shines brightly.
Raise up leaders and neighbors who will stand against exploitation and build up communities of healing and hope. Empower us to love not just in words, but in action and in truth (1 John 3:18).
For Our City
Father, You wept over Jerusalem, saying, "How often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings" (Matthew 23:37).
We weep for Nashville. Protect the vulnerable. Stir Your people to be a city on a hill, shining with the light of Christ. Let Your Church be a refuge for the hurting, a voice for the voiceless, and a witness to Your transforming power.
For Rahab House
Lord, unless You build the house, its builders labor in vain (Psalm 127:1).
We ask for Your provision and protection over Rahab House. Prepare it as a sanctuary of healing for every heart You will bring. Fill it with Your presence and Your peace. Equip those who will serve to be Your hands and feet, bringing hope, dignity, and restoration.
For The Woman
Jesus, You met the woman at the well and offered her living water that would never run dry (John 4:13-14). We pray for every woman trapped in darkness today.
Go to her. Meet her in her pain and reveal Your love to her. Break every chain, heal every wound, and restore her as Your beloved daughter. Help her to see her true identity as Your Bride, radiant and redeemed.
Father, we entrust these prayers to You, knowing You are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). Through every rescue, let the name of Jesus be lifted high and His glory fill the earth.
In His powerful and gentle name we pray,
Amen.
